Nerd HQ in Davenport, IA hosts weekly miniature painting nights where hobbyists and tabletop gamers come together to paint Warhammer, D&D, Pathfinder, and Star Wars Legion minis. The paint nights are casual and beginner-friendly, with plenty of brushes, paints, and advice to go around. It’s a creative space for learning techniques, showing off finished models, and meeting other fans of miniature painting. Beginners and veteran painters are welcome. These are my personally painted Pathfinder Society miniatures. Back in the early 90's I was considered a master painter at Quad Con, but these days I don't even compare to modern painters. The Quad Cities is home to 2 Paizo lodges. The Games+1 lodge which meets on Monday nights, and the Nerd HQ lodge which meets on Saturday nights. Lostboy is the Venture Agent for the Nerd HQ lodge.

When my brother and I entered the "AMATEUR" painting contest in 1990, we took most the ribbons that year, and they made us compete in Masters the following year. These are those minis, taken with film cameras, and then scanned in many years later.
